I crossed the I-35W 2 hours before it collapsed to go to a concert at first av in Minneapolis. We were walking around before the show and this homeless crazy lady was like "God Bless ya honey" It was really weird and I remember how I felt after she said it. Then after awhile at the show they stopped everything and told everyone about the accident. I was just so strange.

To Lilith, Onemittenskitten and others who doubt this recent sighting, i concur. While I am inclined to believe the original incident due to the sheer number of sightings this one seems little more than re imagined hype. Not to mention the fact I don't like the idea of the mothman being around again. To Jeff, the awful seems to me to be more of a Jersey devil connection...?

mothman is not only seen before bridge collapses it was seen before Chernobyl and is currently seen in the middle east before some battles I also heard once it was seen before 9/11 p.s. it is not a bringer of doom but a warning once it directly prevented a family from going on the bridge before the collapse also a similar creature kept some German miners from entering the mine before it collapsed.

Could the "Mothman" been a Thunderbird? there has been a few reports all over the world just like the "Mothman" ccreature! Here in Vermont in Richford, there is a creature called: the Awful and it sounds just like the Mothman!...just a thought...

Thank you Lilith! I like your way of thinking. I am definitely a woman of science, and while I am not by any stretch of the imagination saying "these things do not exist," I am saying, "let's investigate them as fully as possible in a controlled, scientific manner." It makes me happy to see people taking a serious look into the unknown instead of just writing believers off as kooks.

Has it occured to anyone that enough people have read the book and seen the movie that they could either be imagining it or hoaxing?

Has anyone investigated this happening?

Talked to the people who alledgedly sighted this entity?

Is there any proof as to the date of this sighting?

Videos, pictures, or communications with some form of date/time stamp?

All things being equal, debunk the most obvious causes, and work back to all that remains and see if it measures up.

Critical thinking is our friend, it helps us to preempt the skeptics, and keeps our credibility high.

Supposedly the 'Mothman' is a race of alien. It would make sense when you take into account the original Mothman story in PA and the aftermath of the town being flooded with M.I.B. (NOT THE MOVIE KIND)
