There seems to be a shadowy figure that follows me around. It first showed up about 6 years ago in Louisiana, when I was around 13. At night, on my way back from a friend's house, I could hear foot steps behind me. When I turned to look, I didn't see anything. This happened 3 more times before I waited to turn around and catch it by surprise. When I spun around, at the bottom of the hill I was on, I saw a tall (at least 7 feet), shadowy figure sprint across the road quicker than anything I had ever seen in my life. Naturally, it scared the hell out of me, so I hurried home. Similar instances have occurred numerous times since then. Fast forward 3 years. When I was 16, I had to move to North Carolina with my parents and sister. I thought I had gotten away from it, but I was wrong. I would randomly see it at night when walking or driving. Sometimes it would be running, and sometimes it would just stand there and watch me. But on nights that I couldn't see it, I could definitely feel its presence. I once called it out, trying to get it to show itself and to communicate. When it would not show itself, I called it a coward. As soon as I said that, now I don't know if this is a coincident or not, but a giant Raven, with about a 25" wingspan, flew out of some thick woods directly over my head, maybe 2 feet above me. Fast forward 3 more years. I have moved back to Louisiana for college, and while I don't see it as often as I used to, I can still strongly feel its presence. Now, unlike any of the other stories I have read, I have never woken up to this figure next to my bed, or even seen it inside for that matter. What is it?
