One night, when I was about 13 years old, I was walking home from a friend's house. I heard footsteps behind me, but when I turned to look, nothing was there. This happened a couple more times, and when I turned around on the third time,I saw a tall shadow figure, at least 7 feet, sprint across the road faster than I have ever seen anything move in my entire life. From then on, this thing has followed me.

When I was 16, I tried to communicate with it. I was standing out in the road, and I asked it to show itself. When nothing happened, I asked if it was scared to appear, right after I said that, a giant crow with a wingspan of about 20 inches flew out of a thick part of woods along the road, right over my head.

Unlike other shadow people stories, I have never seen this creature beside my bed, or even in my house. Every time I've seen it, it has been outside.
