The house i grew up in was actually built by a mormon pioneer. anyway, i kept hearing things as i was a lot older. but my mom had told me that she had actually seen an old cowboy walking out of the closed attic door, stop at the foot of their bed, look at her, then he would walk through (where the original door was) , walked across the hall to where my older brothers were sleeping, then he came back checked on them and then went downstairs. he would do that alot. but i remember it was during spring break (i was in 4th or 5th grade) i kept hearing footsteps during the day ( my grandmother and i were the only ones home). then one day i heard someone knocking on the bathroom wall. my dad had put in drawers on that wall. there was no way a live person could get in there. and i doubt a mouse could get to the heighth of a grown man.

then when my grandmother passed we kept thinking that something was on the stove and was burning. my grandmother would be asleep and forget she had something on the stove. plus we could hear her banging on the side of the cupboard and doorway in her wheelchair.

and then when my dad died we would hear the organ playing. even our dog would know when he was sitting on the bench and about to play.

now when i was in high school we had a ghost that would close all the doors that were open. did not matter what doors were open. in fact one of the underclassmen seen this ghost sitting at the manual typewriter (with paper in it ), typing on this manual typewriter.

i had a friend that when he passed and i was staying overnight at my other friends place, we would see the thermostat needle move.
