The Hannah Theater Ghost
Well, my story may not be as strange as some I've heard, but I'd like to share it anyway.

I was at the Hannah Theater in Theater Square in Downtown Cleveland. I was with my sister and her co-worker, they both were singers/actresses in the play that was currently running at the Hannah.

The theater is very old, and half of it was closed off at the time I was there. The second floor was entirely closed off, used for mostly lighting equipment and storage. There were two box seats on either side of the stage, the one on stage right had stories behind it about a female ghost. The stories I heard described that she looked like a 1940s actress, and one of the crew members had heard that there was an actress who died in a car accident while on her way to a show at the Hannah.

Crew members had other stories, one was taking a nap upstairs and when he woke the woman was standing there plain as day, staring at him. Another crew member's story; he needed to use the bathroom, but was closer to the women's bathroom than the men's, so he decided that it wouldn't hurt anyone if he used the women's. Upon walking into the bathroom, he heard someone hissing at him, he assumed it was the ghost and he ran out of there.

Anyway, my sister's co-worker was new, and was watching the show, studying the performer that she was to replace. We watched with her, and sat up in the stage right box seat, the seat that the female ghost is normally in. The show was going as normal, and occasionally I would look over at the seating by the lighting equipment. I could see the faces of workers sitting up there.

About half way through the show, a song had ended and everyone was applauding. I looked over at the seating next to the lighting equipment and saw a few rows up from the other people, a stark pure white face and a pair of hands applauding. The reason why I think it was her is because she was so much brighter than the other people that were sitting only a few seats down from her. She was like a light.

So yeah, that is my one and only ghost experience so far.
