I have been in college for two years now. I met this friend of mine who was interested in doing ouija, and I, being a scientist was always open to experience and test out new things to see them with my own two eyes. So we, and some other friends, decided to create a board and use it in the lounge of our dorm building (Freshmen year) and then again in our friend's dorm (Sophomore year). We had many strange and slightly scary and even funny experiences. However, one experience in particular was incredibly strange and creepy, and had me paranoid and thinking about the paranormal for many a month afterwards.
One night, me, this girl, and some of our other friends were in a dorm room and were crowded around the board on the floor. We attempted to contact some spirits. Earlier in the night we had met one who told us that she wanted to see us and told us to look up at the ceiling. Well, we were all far to scared to look! We said goodbye and she politely left after we insisted for a third time that we had to go. So later on in the night we tried again, in a different room. Here we met a man, a name I don't remember. He was a very strange figure, generally speaking when we did our sessions we either got coherent thoughts or complete x35ldkjaadf style gibberish. However, this time we got full words that did not form complete sentences. However, we were able to gather some information from him, like that he was from Eastern Europe. We asked him how he had died and he said that he hadn't. We then asked how that was possible, since humans die. He replied that he was not a human but something called a Dhampir, a word that none of us had ever seen before. He then stated that he wanted us to "give him life" and that he was "hungry." Needless to say, a slight Catholic upbringing and a cowardly mind, made me know that this had to end. We said goodbye and after some insistent urging, it was over. We later looked up the word, it is apparantly a half human, half vampire. Needless to say I was so scared. It got me to thinking for months, "if spirits are real, are vampires real?" I've now pretty much given up on the whole ouija first hand experiences due to this one event.
I have plenty of other very very very cool (not scary) stories that I might post later. I am so glad I found this site, I had to tell someone, but those that didn't do it with us don't believe us!
