The city I live in is full of history. In my neighborhood sits a house that belonged to Davy Crocketts family. Also, the local library that sits just on the outside of the neighborhood sits near an Native American burial site. During the Civil War there was a battle fought in the next city over called The Battle Of Franklin. There are several houses still standing from that time period. One of them was used a hospital during the war. The family that owned the house donated property for the fallen soldiers to be buried on. There is a creek that runs by my house my family has found fossilized Native American moccasins. There have also been bullets or their shells from civil war rifles found in our back yard.
