I used to have ghostly encounters at my Mom's house in Simi Valley all the time. There was the time when we first moved in that footsteps could clearly be heard on the second floor as all of my family sat in the same room on the first, the time that I was walking upstairs late at night when I was startled to high heavens by what sounded like a crystal chandelier smashing on our ground (it's a small rental house, so it clearly wasn't a sound I would have expected) only to discover nothing in the house that could have possibly made that noise was disturbed the night before.
And then there were the shadow people, much like many of the other stories described. They were always moving about, faster than my eyes could keep up with them, it seemed. One even made its existence undisputed when it came into my brightly lit room's doorway when me and my mother were arguing. We both just stopped, turned our heads, and it was gone just as quickly as it appeared.
Then it stopped. No rhyme or reason to it. One day all of it just suddenly stopped happening. Any of you more experienced persons out there have any explanations?
what might of happened is that they had to leave for a pourpose maybe the reaper was after them and got them before they could run and they had to move on but hey that is wicked cccccccccccccccccccccccccccccoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
I actually have two minor theories about why these occurrences seem to stop for a period of time;
1> Perhaps the beings are more apt to appear around a certain time of year, based on the events surrounding their deaths, or
2> People who have to deal with situations in life become closed off to the experiences because they have to focus more time and energy into things needing to be taken care of.
I'm more inclined to believe the latter, because of events that have happened to me personally and I recall a lapse would occur when something in my life required a higher priority.
