Ok the rumor is that one of the cabins is haunted at the camp, I don't know the details of how it came to be haunted but people just say its haunted. The ghost who haunts this cabin is named Annieannie. Some people say that they've seen an illuminating woman in a white gown with long black hair float near the lake and sometimes in the cabins. Most of these are dismissed as false but some are very believable.

Well anyways this is what happened in a cabin at the camp I went to. There was this group of girls in the cabin that is supposedly haunted and one of them brought a oujia board with her. They really didn't play around with it the first few nights but in the middle of the week they decide to try it out. That night they try to contact Annieannie with the board. These girls really didn't believe in Annieannie and so they made fun of her. The board said that Annieannie was talking to them but they just assumed it was one of them moving it. It's been said that if you repeatedly called her that you would have contact with her so one of the girls remembered this and started to call out Annieannie. Soon afterwards the girls eyes went to the back of her head and she started to choke herself.

The other girls thought she was joking and just laughed. (I heard the laughter a few cabins away.) But then she turned blue and passed out. They knew she wasn't joking by then and got one of the teachers. They explained what happened. The teacher checked to see if the girl was alright and then left to go phone the girls parents. While the teacher was gone the girl got up and pulled a safety-pin out of her pocket and pushed the point into her veins. She then got driven to the hospital by the teacher and I don't really know what happened to her. I heard a few rumors but I never saw her again.

If I can find out I'll post how the Annieannie legend got started.
