Unicursal Hexagram
My friend and I were researching the occult and its practices and came across the unicursal hexagram. My friend became obsessed with it and would draw it everywhere. He learned to draw it in one pen stroke. One day I felt I knew that something was terribly wrong with him. But we were not due to meet until a few days later so I had no idea what had happened to him. When we did meet he told me he decided to write his name inside the hexagram for the first time during break at work. Within half an hour of doing so he felt sick, had severe diarrhea and vomiting, was light headed and felt weak. After he came back from the washroom he immediately erased what he drew. Turns out I felt he was in some sort of trouble after he became ill. Thankfully he fully recovered by next week.

I am posting this as a warning for any one who wants to dabble in the occult - this practice produces real results, be careful.

I HIGHLY doubt that was anything Occult related.

Slight food poisoning, nerves, stress, the water, bacteria, numerous legitimate medical things could have caused that. Not trying to be ignorant, but I believe that you're worrying too much.

i'm a Occult and Paranormal investigator and would like to know how and why your friend got sick from that hexagram? from what i understand that hex is a symbal for self-confidence! did he have another sign with it?

That is what I thought too. The problem is anything Crowley did usually has several stories on it saying it is either satan-worship or the way to enlightenment and anything in between.

I realize I'm probably going to face a firing squad for saying this, but all the research I've done on the Unicrusal Hexagram says it's a charm, not a curse.

I draw pentangles as my "star" points on everything. Fortunately my papers haven't been bad luck for over 15 years. :) As for the story itself, that's unfortunate. Hopefully your friend will relax and be incredibly careful with the occult stuff. No more Aleister Crowleys please.

A valid point.

Many times people get into the occult because they want to strike out at their family, or church, or someone they are angry with... others just become fascinated by the allure of the unknown... still others hunger for the power they feel they can take from it.

I'm glad you posted your story here... perhaps someone who is similarly fascinated by such things will think twice before making the same mistake your friend did.

Take comments here with a grain of salt... we don't all have the "lol duh" mentality, and I would hate for you to be chased away by it.
