My grandfather (Poppie) passed away in August of 1978 and in January of 2000 his wife, my grandmother (Nana) passed away, my daughter was 12 years old at the time of her passing, I will call her "T" for this story. Several weeks after my grandmother passed T was invited to sing with several professional Opera singers at her school for a concert. T was so excited and wanted to go ahead to the school while my mother and I finished getting ready. She was not even gone 5 minutes when the phone rang and a stranger was asking me if I was T's mother. My worst nightmare was coming true, my baby girl had been hit by a car. The car was going approximately 35mph when T was struck, she landed on the hood and windshield of the car so hard that the dashboard at the base of the windshield was caved in. T walked away from that accident with a concussion and bruises. Nobody could understand how she survived, let alone survived with very little injury. When T was coherent enough to answer questions about what happened, She told us that Nana and Poppie were dancing and told her that it wasn't her time yet and she needed to go home. Tawnya described in great and detail exactly what my grandfather was wearing, she described with 100% accuracy what my grandfather was wearing when he was buried... 20 years before she was born. She knew details that were long forgotten by people who were at his funeral. That gave both my mother and I shivers, but that is not the end of this story.
A few months after the accident my mother went to California for a job interview and while she was in California she stopped in to see a psychic. When she walked in she was told not to say a word and to drink a cup of tea. After my mother drank the tea, the psychic took her mug and told my mother how she had recently lost someone who was close to her and that she had almost lost someone not to long after that, She then told my mother that the person she almost lost was sent home to her by "flowing blue dances"... In T's vision of nana and poppie dancing nana had been wearing a blue flowing dress......
