I have only had a couple of supernatural experiences in my home, and none of them were very concrete - they could easily have been my imagination, fueled by darkness or a scary movie. In fact, this one might could be explained very easily. But I just wanted to share it and see if anyone else has experienced something like it.

This morning, my mom came into my room and said, "Have you broken anything, like a cup, down in the den?" I shook my head and followed her downstairs to see what she was talking about. Covering the rug were little shards of glass, hardly visible unless the light hit them just right. We were puzzled - just the night before we had played with the dog all throughout that room and had neither seen nor felt any glass. All of our glasses and vases were intact, and nothing had been sitting out when we went to bed. My parents' bedroom is downstairs and they had not heard anything during the night. We asked my sisters if they had broken anything and not told us, but they were just as confused as we were.

The shards were very small, so it was unlikely that they came from the dropping of a glass. They were, however, in the correct position to be the remains of a glass knocked off the coffee table, though I doubt a fall from that would result in totally shattering the cup. My sisters could very easily be lying, but if either of them had knocked something over during the night my parents would surely have heard it.

My question, has anyone herd of anything like this before?
