Okay so, I live in a store that is on a indian reservation in british columbia. I lost my brother to suicide on christmas day 2004 in saskatchewan , and since maybe late 2009 our doorbell started ringing a different tune and we went to check and nobody was around anywhere and it would go off quite abit almost everyday around 8:00 . It was a very different melody, but when someone would press the button it would be the normal *ding-dong* sound . for a while we didn't hear the bell go off in a different melody until Jan. 13 .. it rang 2 times in a row with a long sweet sounding melody , on Jan 14. it rang about 3 or 4 times.. and on January 15 , My late brothers birthday; it rang about 6 or 7 times in a row.

it is very hard to explain how this melody sounds, but our doorbell is very standard with one ring tone.

Maybe a couple months later .. around april. it started going off like crazy with the melody , still the same sweet sound but it just kept going off maybe 10 times in a row.. a day later we got news that one of our close relatives passed away. I can't say that it is my brother doing this, because I do live on Reservation and there are alot of graves everywhere and we have alot of relatives who have passed on but we also do have other things that go on, we had a relative who stayed in our living room for about 2 months and she always left the light on when she slept, but in the middle of the night it would go off and she is a very spiritual person, she told my mother that it was my late brother playing around with the lights.

i can't be sure. but it's been very quiet around here our doorbell hasn't been going off, and our lights haven't been going off since.
